Dear Inu Gumi, Ahem... Long long ago in your letter archive someone compared Miroku to Tasuki... and you didn't know who he was. I assume that by now you know, but I shall explain the legend of the Shi Jin Ten Chi Sho. In China and later in Japan there was the ancient legend of the Shi Jin Ten Chi Sho. A girl from another work would come to be a miko for one of the four gods, Miroku and Kagome should be familiar with them (In China they are Zhu Que, Qing Long, Xuan Wu, and Bai Hu. Later in Japan they are Suzaku, Seiryuu, Genbu and Byakko.) This miko had to gather the seven constelations who are incarnated as people with special powers such as control of lighting, control of life force power, telekenesis and many others. All together there are 28 constellations. The miko must gather the shichi seishi and summon the god that summoned her in order to bring peace to the nation the god protects. Tasuki is of the Suzaku shichi seishi. He is a red-headed fire throwing fanged bandit with an attitude a lot like InuYasha's. He hates women due to having five older sisters and a very overwieght mother and a barely existing father. At 15 he ran of to be a bandit at Reikaku-zan. His miko appeared when he was 17 and thus had to travel with the other shichi seishi seeing most of them die before his eyes. In the end, he and two others were left to help the miko summon Suzaku. By the way, Chichiri, Tamahome, Hotohori, Nuriko, Mitsukake, and Chiriko are also a Suzaku no shichi seishi. Does this help in your understanding of a very old question? FY-sama
